Understanding basic ventilation and perfusion principles is vital. In a patient, once you use pathophysiology and determine whether the patient is sick or not, then it is time to perform a differential diagnosis. Reacting to life threats. Airway, breathing and circulation always take priority. You'll learn how to evaluate any situation or scene, take a history of the current event and past medical history, perform a physical exam to prioritize possible causes of signs and symptoms. Determining the most likely cause, and before beginning treatment, determine if the patient can tolerate the side effects of treatment.

Learn the number of different treatments for respiratory emergency distress depending on on the cause and determining that cause as accurately as possible to include assessing and managing airway.
