About the course
The ITLS basic/advanced course covers the skills other necessaryfor rapid assessment, resuscitation, stabalization and transportation of trauma patients using as it's core, the ITLS basic course. This 16-hour course emphasizes evaluation steps, sequencing and techniques for resuscitation and packaging a patient. Hands-on stations include:
Basic and Advanced Airway
Chest decompression & F;uid Resuscitation
Spinal Restriction/Rapid Extrication
Short Back Board
Helmet Management
Seat Tickets
